FAQ's
Q. If I provide my own food is there a discount on the boarding fee?
A. Arranging several different diets is very time-consuming, so we charge a little extra for this service.
Q. What are the hours for drop-off and pick-up?
Monday to Saturday 8am - 10am and 3pm - 6pm
Sunday and Public Holidays - 3pm - 6pm only
Closed Christmas Day and New Years Day
Q. My flight leaves at 1pm, so can I drop off my pet at lunch-time?
A. Please talk to us if it is not convenient for you to drop off or pick up during our opening hours. We prefer to know if you will be calling in the middle of the day, so that we can ensure that we're not out walking.
Q. If I can't drop off my animal in the middle of the day, does that mean you are not there?
A. Staff are on-site 24/7. We walk the dogs down a track next to the property and are not able to attend to callers during that time.
Q. When can I come and view your facilities?
A. Inspections are welcome at any time. If you call outside opening hours, you may have to wait a few minutes if we are out walking. You are welcome to bring your dog, but please bring their vaccination certificates and have them on a lead.
Q. My pet was vaccinated last year, but the vet said something about vaccinations lasting up to 3 years - will you take my pet?
A. A. There are vaccines that last for more than one year. To be sure, check the due date on the vaccination certificate.
Q. My pet was vaccinated but I can't find the card - will you take my pet?
A. Sorry - we cannot take any animal without proof of vaccination. IF you realize that the card is lost before your holiday, most vets will print off a confirmation that you can bring with you. If you arrive at the kennels without documentary proof, we will make every effort to contact your vet clinic to confirm vaccination status. However, if this is not possible (e.g. on a public holiday) then in order to protect other animals, we would be unable to accept your pet.
